Spencer Floods
Pastor Dave has been in contact with Bethany Lutheran in Spencer. Flood reports are bleak. The waters are still high. Many homes are underwater and damaged beyond repair. People have been evacuated and are now living in shelters around the city.
While long term relief plans are being put in place, there are short term needs that require our attention. Here is a list of items that can be used right away. Please bring your donations to the church and we will see to it that these items will be put in the hands of those who have been displaced.
Also know that for the long term, we will put out Pastor Dave's disaster bucket. In time, crews of people will be needed to facilitate clean up.
